I bought a evaluation one as thought I'd try a cheaper one and can't fault it! Had it 4 years now, changed the paddle straight a way as it comes with a cheap one. And still doing the job for me now!

I have a 240v dewalt drill mixer which cost about £130 16yr ago and apart from brushes it is still going strong and a 110v 1800w alfra for about 3 years which is spot on but cost best part of £300.

Is that similar to the Evolution one?

Mate of mine got a ryobi drill with a Marshall town paddle on it, cost him like 50 if that, gets by fine.

so would u go collomix over eibenstock?
I always had collomix someone told me that there are equivalents on market but not interested, they are £390 and have had to wait 2 weeks for delivery but I am stuck in my ways with me mixers..xo6 I use to mix up for rendering as well instead of in cement mixer i find it quicker cleaner better mix.One big gorilla bucket is equal to a cement mixer full, this one is the new model they are higher in standing position so don't bend over whatever I mixing and power of them just churn through what ever I mixing.

we have purchased a eibenstock 1800w 240v, the double handle type . we have plenty of dead ones in the lockup, bosch, refina, belle.

I've bin looking at some mixers recently just interested to see who uses what and how long u had them for ?

Hi mate,

We have our Alfra Eibenstock ones on offer still. If you call to order they are £245.00 + VAT with free delivery.

They do look different to the others, but are made by Eibenstock and have exactly the same motor and parts

Haha yeah it also evaluates your mix and tells you if it's good or not! ;). Bloody s**t hot!

Bloody iPhone changing words!
Like consistency rating of stiffness
Grades 1-8...my Nokia does that ,lol

And un mixed lump detection device

Also including an alarm for when some f**cker thinks it's funny to drop crap in your mix!
Joiner knob did that in a bag of skim I had open ,dropped a massive nail into bag..ripped me bucket up a nearly killed me ankle.

Had my old one 7years got the new shape last year..the old one still going but I gave it my brother who does part time plastering now..when it comes to drills I think it comes down to how much you want to spend the others in the thread all seem happy with what they got.
