OMG, USA

I bet there is no flex in that trowel Danny , these Curry trowels are flat solid master pieces just look at the size of them rivets and there is two more rivets than other brands , I so wish there was a U.K. distribution centre, even sent an email to curry a while back asking about getting bulk orders or stock over here , never got a reply, I’m thinking they just ain’t bothered about the U.K. yet nela are in the states , I don’t get it

Update on the curry carbon it’s took 10 months but now it’s wicked chuck my gear on with flattens off proper nice still needs slightly longer to be used as I pull out the mt to have last flick over
Definitely gonna order another one at Christmas
Treat myself

that is good to know

@Mouldyoldspudgun

This is the one I got 13x5
But if you want a different size just select it on the link there are a lot of different sizes

The code on the one I got was 82-489 if you want the same when you click the link it probably will show 11 inch so make sure you select and check that code

Thanks for that, I went on there last night and ordered what I want just waiting for a shipping price and then just waiting for the goodies to arrive

Think shipping is roughly £20 was a import tax too about the same I think

What did you order
I only ordered a fourteen inch hawk and a four and three quarter inch by fourteen inch carbon steel trowel with a wooden handle plus a six inch carbon steel joint knife but I will be ordering more, I was impressed with what I saw

How are you chaps getting on with the Curry trowel? And how does it compare to MT carbon?
I have to confess, I haven’t used it yet, it’s still in its box in the cupboard with two boxed Marshalltowns for company but I shall get it and take it along tomorrow and use it straight out of the box

How did you get on with it? Is she staying in the van or going back in the cupboard...

Ha ok mate, keep us updated if you decide to use her.... I like the look of the bon tools but would be good to know how they compare with the trusty xtralite carbon
I will do that, they cost a fair bit in shipping and then the theft of your money by our government for import duties

Hello Mr T, used the curry trowel this week it is an absolute cracker, handle is really comfortable and the steel is cracking seems better than a Marshal town, used it for skimming and troweling up straight out of the box never been used on anything else, the finish of the edge is not as smooth as Marshal town but it trowels up very nicely obviously has to be finished with a broken in trowel at the moment. We had a ceiling over artex messing around the other day one grind with the curry and a polish and done. @Vincey thanks for the heads up again, will buy another soon my son is hetting one too

has anyone got a Kraft trowel?
I’ve recently got a kraft stainless fancy handle looks good but I’m not convinced dropped it from not a great height onto wooden floorboards and it come away ! But good old ct1 sorted it in a nut shell not strong enough feels hollow the blade .

Nice one, thanks for the update. Glad you’re getting on well with her, I think I’ll treat myself to a 14’’ and maybe a hawk to make the shipping more worthwhile.

I used a wooden handled Kraft SS for years, I thought it was a lovely trowel but I swapped to using a MT carbon last year. I wouldn’t go back to a SS trowel now, carbon is so much nicer to use.
