I'd strike a straight line fill to that line and work in to that hard angle.i prefer curved. only takes for pissed joists to make splayed look shite
on an orangery ceiling we find that the angles are to tight to scroll.
skim alternatives then we hold up a length of plasterboard stop bead against the internal and cut a dead straight line. we use the same method for bay windows.
