patio surface texture help

I've been trying to match this cement balcony surface texture for a repair. I've tried masonry brush, long nap roller, various thin cement mixes with sand, etc., and not having any luck. Any suggestions?

is that different than a long nap roller? Sometimes I see the terms used interchangebly. I tried a 3/4" nap roller, didn't work. Do you mean the woven rollers that kind of look like carpet fibers?

Depending on your mix make up, a long pile roller or a bark roller would get you there

To achieve a stipple finish, we put an empty mastic tube on the roller cage. Make sure you push the roller in the same direction to get an even finish.
