Paying employee's

Id rather work at aldi than be told to work 8-5 day in day out plastering do the occasional long day but very rare these days..gps is rite in same amount will be done,if I was you id set my stall out at start of week/day and if its finished and quality Is still there wat does it matter..he will be happy and your still making the same amount of money he will just work faster during day to make sure he gets done wat u agreed at start of week

Domestics totally different to site though.

If your starting a job at 8 there's pretty much no way you can get all your protection down, prep work done, 2 sets, a bit of dinner and be done by 2-3 easily. Not decent sets.

Most of my jobs I'll put a spread and a lab/semi skilled in a room and they will either have a long day to finish or half a day for one next day with a set and cleaning up.
It's then hard ain't it to find another job to go to for half a day in afternoon.

Surely this guy Is site how could you keep 12 blokes going on domestic? I only take domestic jobs wen a new carpet floor Is getting fitted its written in t&c :-)

End of day If your making profit on him and he finishes it in 8 days or b4 every1s a winner..happy spread and happy boss

I did a bit for them years ago, wondered what had happened. Didn't know Archie had lost it and died. Shame, big employer, loads of spreads got a start with him.
 
Bead whole apartment 1st day 8am-10am. 2 hits after that and 3 hits each day after that. Labourer scrimming ahead of spread. Have to do 3 hits....we be busy but I'm not cracking the whip every day. They know and I know what they can handle on each hit and once they throw on as near to that as possible I'm happy.

I wouldnt do 3 hits per day, so glad I do domestics

How many bags you expecting him to do and what are you paying him?

If he finished it in 5 days would you only give him 6 to do the next job?

We don't discuss money on here as we all know but from ringing other plastering firm buddies and bricky firms he's getting 100 quid a week more than what they are paying their subbies. All the houses are the same so there's 7-8 days in them. I have given him the option to go on price but he declined.
 
The bloke knows score when he joined up time is irrelevant it's the blokes attitude that's the issue

8 days in one unit how big are they
 
8 days to skim a appatment!? With a labourer aswell..must be huge..we insulate,board and skim full semi detached houses in 6/7 days with no labourer or no help loading boards in
