How long you been a spread and why?

40 years off and on , I only plaster because nobody would tolerate me in their employment

Old school spread,why do all youngsters think they know it all as many of them can only skim.plastering remains the same trade i started with ,dont make it complicated

been stuck at home for 10 week this weekend missing my granddaughter big time but ok for an old plasterer I just want to get back to normal spread some shite earn a crust /thanks for asking

He can't sing doing the lid , good audition omz , I have to hum for the benefit of others , can't even whistle lol

I was a good whitsler but alas all the teeth are gone /sound like a bag pipe now

How are you?
Old stories plenty of them.
When i started my training i was living with my folks,had to be on site @ 7am so 2 buses and half mile walk with tools.
25 tonne of sand & hand ball off lorry the cement ect.Shown how to start large belle mixer,starting handle in tandom with swich a b*****d to start from cold.
Was physical and mental but stayed the coarse.

I'm the same age as you mate so well remember all the handballing the bags, tiles etc. off the lorries.

what is a modern render system ? we have been fitting Ewl , thin coat systems for over 30 years now.
