I very much doubt that it did "paint up lovely". The client and his wife were doing all the decorating themselves and what I saw made me wonder why I bothered to trowel it up.

Sixty something faces in that one room if I remember correctly. And that was after persuading the client to drop the ceiling and hide a big steel. Glad my son's an excellent tacker.
