Used to rehearse in a mental hospital when I was in high school. One of the lads in the band, his dad used to work there, so we would rock up, get the gear in and the harmless patients would often pick up guitars and pretend to play while we got it to his office. Used to be stairs down to underground corridors...creepy as f**k, so we would f**k rehearsals off and go exploring. Usual selection of wank mags found

it would never happen now Norm...hadn’t thought about it in ages. It got knocked down years ago but was quit a landmark where I grew up. The water tower couldn’t be missed. Housing estate now.

Mary Whitehouse a local woman. her son ,a very tall man called Tiny had a jewellery shop in Colchester. very popular shop with lots of one off pieces. Tiny died a couple of years ago.
