preparing concrete walls for plastering

Hi guys need some advice.
I have just moved into a new bungalow which needs some work doing.
stripped the wallpaper from hallway , walls are smooth concrete.
What is best solution to prepare these walls for skimming?
Pretty sure pva isn't the solution as concrete will just soak up water so fast.
wise knowledge is needed!!

Microgobetis, bondit, blue grit, plasprime

can I just apply thistle bond it straight onto concrete wall then?
no need to apply anything to slow down the suction?

Yep....clean the dust off as much as poss first.then apply the grit,
give it 24 hour to dry.:RpS_thumbup:

Inlikley you it was wall papered straght over concret.

smooth concrete wall in a bungalow ? do you mean sand and cement, or are you in the netherlands?
