Refurbishment Question

Hello,

I’m currently renovating a property and have started taking tiles off in the kitchen area. The plaster beneath the tiles is grey, and beneath the top coat is a rock/stone type material (looks a little like a breeze block but has been put on as a mixture or would appear so) the property was built in 1927, but the kitchen area is part of an extension which was put on in what I think was the 1960s.

Looking to see if anyone has come across this before and what material is it? My main concern is it may contain asbestos.

Cheers

No idea what that is but if I've ever been unsure concerning asbestos I've just dropped a sample off at the local councils lab and had it tested.. results in a few days n costs about £25 for a sample
