Evening all- quick one from me, I have a job to do hack off patches of loose render and obviously repair! Any tips in getting a good finish once it has been painted so it doesn't stand out like a soare thumb! Patches are 1m2 with render depth of 10mm at most!

cheers

Nice clean lines sponged in to match existing or troweled smooth to match existing, patches are not easy to make invisible

I know mate tell me about been telling the project manager how hard it is to make patches invisible! On a Main Street in a busy town too! Love a challenge! Do you guys use yellow sand as top
coat? I've been working with a squad who say use plastering sand as sub coat and help was top coat and you can get better finishes! Any truth in this as I've alwYs personally used plastering sand all the time.

cheers
