Rust

I have stuck on my plastering beading with Metal capping nails. Is there any risk that they will rust? If they do rust what can I do about it? Because house has already been plastered?

If they are stainless steel they'll be fine, and if they are designed for external use I would imagine they won't rust:RpS_thumbup:

i not really sure if they are stainless steel on not. just says steel on box!

When was plastering done? you'll know pretty soon if there gonna rust

about two weeks ago. no paint gone on yet!

why would you use them?

the nails that you have used are not stainless steel at that price.
where the beads stainless or galvanized ?
it is safest the fix stainless with stainless and galvanized with galvanized to prevent a chemical reaction.

I always paint the heads of my capping nails in some non rusting paint prior to skimming :RpS_w00t: did i say skimming!
