Which do you prefer ?Have any of you boys compared it to the refina s*p*r*lex. I have been using both and find they are both good at slightly different stages of the set. I see @Olican with the Nela, have you ever used the refina version?
How much cheaper ?Honestly can't split them. First of all the nela was better initially straight from the box, thought it was miles better! But after persisting with the refina its at least as good effortlessly bringing up a fantastic finish (so much so I don't even use my plazzy anymore). And when you consider there haven't been many complaints about build quality from the refina ones and the fact that they're quit a bit cheaper. Value wise gotta be refina! If I was forced to only have one ? Then maybe nela?
Not an easy decision.
You lay on with the s*p*r*lex ?Yeah I have been using both for the last 6 months love em both ,I know the nela is better made now but I have mark 1 and it's coming away a little, but it's done miles. Refina is 6 months old and still solid. But I love the nela thinner width blade for troweling and love refina with thicker width blade for laying on and early stages
Thanks for this, can you do the next reviewThat's weird because I feel I've let one stop down I'm now converted refina my trowel broke so I cracked on with refina !I converted fellow old school spread to Nela !in a nutshell I'm confused which is better I've sold my 2other Nela trowels but I know I will return to them !so if had to choose id say its don't know lol

I know some who lay on with the s*p*r*lex, I don't get the advantage of using them rather than standard marshalltown,Yeah i lay on with refina s*p*r*lex but wouldn't lay on with nela s*p*r*lex there different trowels and it works for me but I wouldn't be with out any of them why choose have both

Refina Superflexs for £30 notes delivered .... if Nela came down to that price id probably give one ago ....
For £10 less per trowel roughly 33per cent cheaper that's a reason a dragon would "be out"No worrys Ryan ... only sayin that tryin to convert Refina lads to Nela when they can pick up trowels they know well for a lot less than Nela is something maybe to bear in mind if you want the larger % market share ?.... In essence they do the same thing so id need a good sales pitch haha
