New one is out in roughly 2-3 weeks. Performance will be the same or slightly better. It is the overall build quality of the Trowel which has been improved. I can't say exactly what has happened as its top secret. Manufacturing costs have gone up but the price won't be

Refina out of 14 and 16 inch s*p*r*lex ,nela out of almost every size, it's a seismic shift in trowel purchasing

Probably not a concern @bobski in terms of there market share/ size in the states and the fact superflexes possibly aren't used as its more tape and jointing etc over there ...

Must be one eye on it with the relase two years ago of the duraflex range.
Which is somewhere between a standard permashape and a s*p*r*lex.

To be honest mate, I am very confident we have the larger market % of sales. This could be why they have been forced to drop prices so dramatically.

We believe we have the superior product and have the support and reviews to say so. I know people won't always agree but it is the feedback we have.. Therefore the price is the price. I had 3 meetings today with various companies all looking to come on board and move completely NELA over competitors. One had emailed with an order before I left the office

In all honesty we don't even get questioned on the price etc, people know they are worth it once they have one.

Its the same as an Ox Trowel vs a MT Trowel. In essence they do the same thing but your going to buy the better one...

No worrys m8 just a discussion .... as for ox and MT trowels I wouldn't buy either or use em if they were free lol ... not had a better trowel than my Refina s/s in my plastering life that's why I was getting at offering something to persuade people like me if you want to take the market ...

The price drop I mentioned wasn't direct from the manufacturer ... just a tool site with 20% off on everything this month

£29 plus vat versus £43 plus vat is a lot .the £29 been a promotion price of course £36 the normal price,
It's going to be interesting,
Plasterers1stopshop have great customer reviews but so do Refina ,
I'd like to see one stop shop doing well out of this as they treat everyone on here very well..
