Where do people source the stuff?

Can see plenty of it online but I want to use some this week for the first time and don’t want to wait for delivery.

Someone told me selco and ccf do it but I can only see mesh that states it’s for basecoat and rendering work. Or is this stuff still thin enough to bed between coats of finish?

I used the Weber mesh on a wall the other day tbf it went in ok no problem but I’ve been told @Plasterers1StopShop do one for skim and also worth a look on eBay for cheaper rolls mate

yes .

Ive used the selco pink one and its fine, i have 2 methods which are staple on wall before mixing or put first coat on then bed in but iether way leave your first coat to pull in much longer than usual before applying the top finish.

Roller it on with pva works a treat to much messing trying to bed in with gear and cutting ... ebays versions a waste of time buy a decent roll.

they tell me that there is a self adhesive one one the market now. i like to bed it on.

I posted a thread asking if anyone had used the self adhesive kind as I saw it in a catalogue that I had.

not the heavy duty one, with wire built into the mesh.

No malc the mesh with 4mm holes, i would only use the fiba tape gibo said on hairline cracks. I also carry the smaller 100mm rolls used for aquapanel joints before tiling i use these on the odd large crack or overskims ceilings where we cant over board it. I will staple it on or just bed if its only a couple or so.
