Just makes me laugh I was in the pub the other year and the was all these thick paddy’s arguing who does the most meters ... when they asked me how many I had done that day I said about 4..... the name of the game is to do the least you can for the most money and never go to work to line the pockets of another plasterer I would rather get a job in Tesco then plaster a whole house to put cash in a greedy mans hand

You are full of s**t though, you quoted nearly three grand for a little ceiling but you failed to mention it was nearly three grands worth of work.

As I said my pal does a lot of lime and he knows his stuff as you do pal . He got me ,£180 a day day work which is good for Manchester but fuk me it is as boringvas fuk

I am not trying to prove how much I earn the problem with m2 work is that the is always someone who will do more meters that’s why the price is so poor my old man was getting £7 in the 80’s ffs and I was getting £5 m2 for sound coat about 7 years ago there’s no need to knock your plumbs out for nothing

5 quid brilliant money for site work if you can't make it pay u numbnut me personally no 2 hits a day that's me done and there average hits! But that's the Joy's of been self employed I set the standards!

There's always going to be them bellends in plastering trust me I've seen em all overc30 + years spreading the s**t. Limecwork is tricky but at the end of the day it's still plastering
 
Tbf @limeplastering is right. A domestic spread would want 4k plus to skim that house, and site workers wouldn't bother with the hassle of jumping s**t to skim 1 poxy House for only slightly better money than they're currently on.
