Slow drying render!

Hi Guys!
Have been tanking out old stone work walls ,so needle gunning stonework to remove old paint and keying up walls, Then dubbing out walls to get rid of uneveness, followed by two coats of trowelled on Vandex.
This is then followed next day with final sand cement render coat, about 20mm thick at three to one mix, this coat is usually on walls by 9am , but it doesn,t dry out enough to finally achieve float finish until 6 to 7 pm so we have to come back evenings to float finish it off.
Any tips to speed up this drying ,as obviously the Vandex is not pulling any moisture out!!

Use a quicker setting cement then

What are you dubbing out with?

20mm, blimey, no wonder it's slow. Try rapid hardener.

20mm needs 2 coats.

Dubbing out is 4-1 with waterproofer, we certainly don't have any cracking !

Try mixing up some driers gauge out a mix same as what you use on a board but dry no water then dust this onto walls when you rub up it will take out the moisture into the driers and the rubbing up will mix it into the wall with no colour difference

Iff it was patching, I'd just chuck a bit of old bonding into the mix, but a full spec damp job.......dunno

Don't use water proofer in dubbing out coat at 3:1 paint vandex on and float with lime light/ dry coat at 20 mm stops sagging as it's light weight. Do the vandex and lime light in same day and should pull in
