It dsnt matter if ur only desire is 1 bag at a time, its amateurish to not have a mega mixer..that's FACT
Dewalt cordless are the b*ll***s not as powerful as mega mix but brilliant for site work no genie neededhow long does a shitty £60-£100 mixer last for? And it's only mixing prob 3 bags a day,bet it still burns out after couple years, mega mixers last 15 years plus and there mixing 10 bags a day
Ok then who’s got the biggest cock/mixerDewalt cordless are the b*ll***s not as powerful as mega mix but brilliant for site work no genie needed
Seen them pal, alot of lads have them.i refuse as I can see burnout of battery tbh then ur just left with a paddle as bats are dear as f**k,give me 110v mega mixer anydayDewalt cordless are the b*ll***s not as powerful as mega mix but brilliant for site work no genie needed
Like f**k would you!I think I’ll go for the £600 Dewalt. Makes sense.
No, I think I will. It will suit my image and more importantly my van. It would look good pulling a £600 mixer out of the top end sport van.Like f**k would you!
A lad who works for our firm just uses a normal dewalt drill with a paddle says it lasts him 5 years and only 150 he only skims and mixes 2 bags at a time but it does the job personally I'd only ever buy cordless now.suprised mega mix haven't made cordless yet.Dewalt cordless are the b*ll***s not as powerful as mega mix but brilliant for site work no genie needed
Definitely not got the biggest cockOk then who’s got the biggest cock/mixer
Bolloxs, been touted 4 years and years!! It will never kick off..hasnt now and never will.dry lining is slowing being phased out as that's a load of shite aswellLads you won't need a mega mixer soon...spray plastering is the future...quite a few decorators round my way doing it and cutting out the spread. It's around an 8K setup...but trust me we are losing s**t loads of work to decorators right now...no messing around with PVA or Blue grit...get the sprayer out mask up and get in done. Mate of mine is spraying everything now...plastering...painting...furniture...even Upvc windows.
That’s when my argument falls downThen casper pulls mixer out

Mate it will never kick off.been saying this to my mate 4 last 10 years, its no bigger now than it was thenSpeed is in the turnaround time...my mate does a room in a day spray plaster including masking...spray paints it the next day and then on the way out says how would you like your white UPVC door and windows sprayed grey...£230 for the door not sure how much he charges for windows...no mess either

99.9% certain it wont, wudnt be arsed if it did, would just mean I dont have to skim anymoreSorry mate you are wrong it will kick off UK always slow to get with the times these systems are getting more and more efficient

It’s like a joiner turning up to a job with black and decker tools lol would never happen
Stuart had best compromise of it,it is literally like a joiner rocking up with a black and decker drill, still does the job but it wouldn't happen
What more basic than drilling a screw homeIt’s nothing like it, we mix powder and water together, very basic.
Anyone on here use a spray machine for skimming.its got me thinking of getting one now.
Any pics of finished work?We have been doing spray painting for years...takes a day for lab to mask and then around 6 hours to spray (3 bed house) has been a really good earner. Mate of mine does spray plastering and is cleaning up...so thats the next step but the setup is 8K.

Think it would be more site driven if kicked off,it wont like, there get lads to skim houses out in 2 days these days.just wont happenCan he skim over artex and areas that require depth
Spoke to paint sprayers on site he does about 6 houses a day at about 50 quid a plot looks like a piece of piss easy money saying that 300 quid a day isnt that good compared to some of the scabs on hereWe have been doing spray painting for years...takes a day for lab to mask and then around 6 hours to spray (3 bed house) has been a really good earner. You’re slowly getting it you sweaty bumder, a mixer is one of the most important tools to a spread why buy cheap shite and pull up to a job in a 30 grand van? Also stop being a messy f**k*r it’s not professional! No, I think I will. It will suit my image and more importantly my van. It would look good pulling a £600 mixer out of the top end sport van.
