a sponge float is pliable a skimming float aint which would even it out better matey,s talking shizer

they can get the same results from using trowel ,and theres no need to spend money on new unnecessary tools imo .

never use a sponge float... or a spat for that matter.

what sizes does anyone recommend using if i were to give it a go???

also how do you use a sponge float (angles, pressure etc)???

used the 1200 on the first flattern out today on the walls, its was quick and the dogs. some of you boys do what you want, don't make no difference to me I'm just reporting what we are finding, if it was crap i would say so. but how can some the normal , I'm going to disagree boys here , slag something they haven't even tried.

That was not very nice grand was it, stu was showing me your pic on facebook, your as short as me, short arse

you using em on the first rule paul ? are you finding it quicker?

no mate, were using the H rule first and then using the flex instead of the spat, sponge wall and then use the flex over , after that the troweling is a breeze.

that spat is the dogs boys, so much quicker then with a trowel , takes all the work out of it when you come to give it a second trowel

Ive seen it done on site but have'nt had a go myself as all the people i have seen doing it didnt turn out very well, I suppose its all down to whos doing it.
