Hello, I hope someone will be able to help me out. Few months ago i did this job : removing old lath and plaster wall, building new frame with treated wood, added vapour barrier, wool insulation, left space in between so there’s room to breathe, installed vapour plasterboards, plastered. It’s a chimney wall , and where plasterboards meet the wall around chimney it never fully dried and what’s even worse the stains are spreading now. I’ve attached some photos of it. Any ideas ?

Put fire on
We never use wool or hemp insulation. It is always a risk:

That will insulate & help wick water away. Also totally inert & fire resistant.
