Boris and Tories tried to get away with paying us universal credit. It's only the pressure the media, labour and lib dem put on them that they backtracked.

Good news though. Apart from tradesman with 10k of cash in their draw. But they'll deserve what they get - f**k all

True that.
I've looked into the small print aswell and it's 80% of the average. Say you put through a profit of 25k a year on average you'd be "owed" £1650 a month, so 5k in total for the 3 months. Then that's taxable at 20% so you're looking at £3750 better off. Still better than nothing of course but the financial repercussions of this recession are going to be felt for a long time.

You know to claim this grant we have to wait for HMRC to call us?

They usually call on a withheld number. When will they call?
 
One of my mates runs a window company. Completely off the record and cash only. Looks like he’ll be going under now. No hope for him now if we stay in for what could be months.

I wouldn't worry , probably claims full unemployment benefits and effectively earns double what you hard graft for
