exactly. I normally get a guy to collect from my house but would I have to get a license even if I got him to pick it up from each job?

From your house yes you'd still need one, but if you left it on the job and your bloke picked it up from there then you'd be okay.

What does he do? come round once a week or somthing and collect it in bulk.

Because if he had to go somwhere different every day, just to pick small bits up, then no doubt he'd start chargeing you more and it would have been cheaper to get the license......................and you still have to pay him!

Kunts aren't they!

Yeh he comes round the house but he will come out for single bags no problem. Coz its reg work the price is cheap as chips. But if I worked it out over the yr your right it would be more and Id still have to pay him. Theres gonna be alot of upset farmers with fields is all I can say. :-\

At the end of the day you have supposed to of had 1 of these licenses for years, how many people have been stopped. If you get stopped and cautioned it gives you a chance to get 1 if you need 1.

lol my point entirely!

I doubt I will bother with one but then they are not likely to stop some one in a jag.....lol

Yes I have been going jobs in an x type jag....lol

Danny

It would make no odds if someone came and picked your rubbish up, you would still be in the same position as nelly was when he got stopped in his van so i think we are all bolloxed.

every time i get stopped i tell them the big lumps of hard plaster in the
old plaster bags are not waste, they're ballast for a shed base im doing.
works every time- they cant be arsed to argue ;)

Plasterboard offcuts = Stock, will be used on other jobs
bead off cuts = Stock, will be used on other jobs
laths from ripped down lath & plaster ceilings/Walls = Will be reused on restoration work etc
Empty plaster bags = reused for carrying the hardcore to jobs were needed

Actually I think Danny's onto something here!
The old 60's Jag was the bank robbers favourite getaway car ;)

This country is a dick!

Phoned the kunts up today to tell them I aint moveing stuff anymore or am winding up my firm

Anyway got through to some bloke who again had to agree it did nothing to stop fly tipping (thats four people now who have admitted its b0ll0x) four out of four too.

He however tried to defend this law by saying "well its 20 years old"

Thats as resonable defence as a pedo saying - "but Ive been shagging kids for 2 decades surely I can carry on"

The enviroment agency are proving to be just another unelected incompetant quango

Old jag.... lol its not its on a 56 plate I think....

No point getting my van on the road for 8 weeks so only doing work for friends family and builders that know me so I dont have to prove anything.

I dunno whether I would fold up for the sake of £154... I get your point its just another "success" tax but what can you do....?

Good luck

Danny

UPDATE

Just recived a reply off my MP by letter rather than email.

Dear Mr Staton,

I hope that you are well (no I'm f*ckin not Im fumeing)

Thank you for your email (yeah whatever)

I have written to Bury councill to establish why you are required to obtain a waste transfere license. I have also asked if there is any help that would enable you to comply with legislation without over burdening your business

As soon as I recieve a reply I will contact you

Yours sincerely Ivan Lewis.

I aint dropping this, Ive got a right bee in my bonnet about this. I dont "do" bullshlt and nonsense.

Just because their lives revolve around pointless paper pushing and useless facts and figures, they have an obsession that we all should.

Your seven days are up today so what are you gonna do?

I phoned the trout again today ( she was out mithering inocent workers again) to inform them I am now getting a skip on every job I do.

I informed them that most of my jobs are single day jobs and rarely generate enough waste to fill a kitchen bin and each skip will be aproximately 1% full, and a skip truck will be making 2 journeys per day to pick up a ridiculous amount of waste..........caused, in full, by this piece of legislation.

I could feel the woman on the phone burning with rage............ it was f*ckin wonderfull.

Yesterday I spoke to my mate Alex Stacey who owns Environment industry magazine and told him about it all, he is a proper tree hugger and does it all because he is into it and not because he is being paid.

He said they are all a bunch of c0cks!
