went to help clear out my wife's grandads tool shed today...he passed away recently and there selling the house.. they asked if I wanted to see if there was any tools I wanted before the house gets sold...he wasnt a plasterer but had some old plumbers tools that where of interest to me...grips , adjustables ,footprints etc...oh my god the quality was unreal despite being 30 years old...proper Sheffield steel. Would go for another 30 years easy....

Everything is shite today in comparison

Love rooting through old sheds

Found a saw in a garden that had been buried for 30+ years, was a bit rusty but still sharp in perfect working order.
I buy a saw now and it's blunt after half a day

I can remember when the likes of Draper Tools started being made in the far East and people were saying what shite they'd suddenly become. Now it's hard to find anything decent to measure the shite against.
