uni-finish

I'm not arguing man, I thought that was the way, it the way I was tought , that's why a was never understand the 4 trowels, and no wonder I can't use the superflexs lol

I have to say john I went through a phase of using the same gear for both coats a fw yrs ago and could finish that in 2 coats but never on a fresh 2nd coat mix...

anyway not going to bore you ant more on the interigation buddy each to there own and frankly who gives a monkey fela so long as we all get paid!!!

all the best!!! zombie:RpS_thumbup:

I always use fresh gear for 2 coat , well nearly always. I just think you guys like playing with it, I say just get it on neat as **** let it pull in. Think maybe that's why peoples gauges take ages cus there playing with it which keeps it wet.

I agree & disagree buddy all relative...however still think its a brave man to have 40/50m on and relay on only having 2 passes to make it all puka....

but I do agree with you mate and defo lean more to the touch the gear the least amount you need to rather than keep playing for sakes sake!!!

all the best zombie:RpS_thumbup:

Here is my review of the new uni-finish that British Gypsum have asked some of us to try out. I thought it would make more sense to film it so that you can see the timings involved and see the backgrounds as well.

I chopped this video down to make it easier to digest, there is however a longer video showing the whole set, trust me its not worth watching zzzz

Was only messing. I was thinking back to a time when bags didn't have an idiots guide on the back

Used a couple of bags today on really high suction walls and it hung for a while, well impressed. We done two walls with multi and pva and it was a struggle to flatten as it was pulling in so quick so i was dubious about using it.
