It all depends o the plot . The ones were on have kite winders bit of a c**t to do .plus we do are own dabbing 90%of the time

Im getting £825 for shitty little plots at the minute ...2 in 6 days mate .

Was getting £995 in Cumbria few years ago where rates are better.....rates are rising now.

Youl get out of plastering what you put into it.

825 for plastering a full house is still and always will be a complete disgrace!

The fact that you can do 2 a week is credit to you and the rest of us idiots mate!

It's not a dig it's just a very different way of life to start at 40+

If you had never known any different you would be fine still at 40 if in good health but your head would go 1st then body!

Seen loads try later on in there carears and fail on site in last recession etc!

Ive stopped any day work at 150 a day since learning some factorys are paying employed that!! Price work only. It's time all spreads got there worth some good points made on this thread I.e collecting materials ware and tare on your motors, no holiday pay etc etc.. Bang your prices up and stick by your guns.. Last geezer who rung me and said it's only a little job, I said oh well you won't need me then and put the phone down!!!!
 
Problem is I've never seen the other prices . If its to days and he's got a labourer say 560. I do it in to days on my own 400 labour only
 
No I'm merciless now in the last recession they screwed us in to the ground, if I price work and they don't get back to me in a couple of days I txt em and say I'm on something else ain't got time for time wasters any more upward and onwards respect yourself there's always something comes in!!

Tbh I’d never do that. I quote and forget. They either want booking in or don’t. No haggling no f**k**g about. I tell em the price and when i have a slot available, i also tell them that slots available at that time and can change.

These jobs are the ones I know are going to piss about, what if I board it myself etc etc types so just to stop em texting wasting there time and mine after a couple of days them get rid of em!! Had one bloke ring 2 years later about same job!! Must think it's gonna get cheaper longer they leave it.. As I said there's plenty about who wont mess about...
