Lol not quite but I flew down a very bumpy lane. But that was after finishing at 1830 on my birthday.Did you roll that van mate??
Romford tools have got them. Are these mediflexs advertised on one stop shops website the same ones? I.e not a new model out?
the best thing to do is after laying in first trowel with your mt or whatever get it nice an tidy eliminate any so called ripples then from there use the mediflex trust me it works been using it for months this way now
Got a couple of small houses hardwall and skim in saffron Waldon if intrested be December timeI got another number for you firm from Ipswich j and t Nichols he has got about 20 houses in lawford near manning tree be a few ready in a few weeks finishing one for him tomorrow
I've spent plenty enough with both speedskim, marshalltown, refina and the wanstop shop to have an opinion, an opinion which is borne from actually using it.
I give credit where it's due and none where it's not, and the thought of any c**t parting with there hard earned and buying something on the strength of me bigging it up as great when it isn't doesn't sit well with me. It's called integrity there's some c**ts need to look that word up.
things I love.
1 the speedskim.
2 new mediflex
things I really like.
1 the refina s*p*r*lex.
2 the standard mediflex
3 refina bucket scoop
4 sanz plastic trowel.
5 m/town tape gun.
things that are ok.
1 eze spat.
2 refina plaziflex.
3 the refina spat.
things I don't like
1 the refina superflex2 .
2 that narrow nelaflex.
any c**t thinking my opinions can be bought for a free trowel can go f**k yourselves.
I do just the same.the best thing to do is after laying in first trowel with your mt or whatever get it nice an tidy eliminate any so called ripples then from there use the mediflex trust me it works been using it for months this way now
Is it skim you mean when you say hardwall ? Why would a lad bother getting you to spray just 2 rooms ? Would'nt it be as quick and cheap just to throw them on by hand ?Am working with an other plasterer today. Am spraying hardwall for him. I get to the job ten to 8. Still the c**t is not here. Am just off the phone to him. Won't be here for an other 40 minutes I've no key to get in. f**k**g hate not getting a start first thing in the morning. I just phoned him and said u f**k**g alcoholic c**t. The funny thing is I don't even know this bloke. A mate asked me would i go and spray hardwall for him. That he will pay me 250 cash when finished spraying 2 rooms. I was hoping to get to an other job for 12. Anyway I might have a wank.
Apparently some sort of trademark or copyright thing on the word Supa flex,I popped down to P1SS 2 Saturdays ago, got there at 10.53am ... shutters down & all fookin' off home!
I knew the medi was out of stock, but wanted a few other bits.
Now ordered a mediflex by post (from P1SS) & just assume it's the latest model heading my way?
I think it will repace the 18" Refina that doesn't seem to get a look in these days - Nothing to do with the trowel, I just think 16" is my thing.
Will keep the Nela s*p*r*lex as my "go to" trowel .. I'm on my third now, and despite smashing my knuckles into plastic door hinges due to the narrow width, I find them perfect for getting between sockets, over door frames & down the sides of architrives on the sort of shite I seem to take on.
edit; Why is the word Supaflex edited out like it's some sort of swearing?
No I mean hardwall. We did over 100m2 in 1h20min. No hard work involved let the machine do the work. I wasn't meant to stay there but I did when he said he would pay me to do some skimming not like me but I did. Even after paying me he made a nice few pound. Is it skim you mean when you say hardwall ? Why would a lad bother getting you to spray just 2 rooms ? From Galway , havent used hardwall are you using it instead of sand and cement ?@moy83 where you from
Yes It's called hardcoat in Ireland. Have you used itFrom Galway , havent used hardwall are you using it instead of sand and cement ?
I'm just about using skim ! Think a lad was on about it and he reckoned he didnt like it , said it didnt edge up nice but I suppose its just a metter of getting used to itYes It's called hardcoat in Ireland. Have you used it
It's not nice to rule. But u do get used to itI'm just about using skim ! Think a lad was on about it and he reckoned he didnt like it , said it didnt edge up nice but I suppose its just a metter of getting used to it
Float it and skim the same day ya ? Whats the advantage over sand and cement ?It's not nice to rule. But u do get used to it

Where ya from yourself ?
The advantage is u can skim it the same day. It's a lot lighter than sand and cement. No wheelbarrows or cement mixer. Am in Co louth.
I pay €10 a bag. A bag will do a wee bit more than a slab. Skim will go a lot forder if you skim it the same day so u save money on skim. U save money on labour using it. When I do a private house with sand and cement i have a man on the mixer and a man getting it in and 2 of us putting it on. With hardcoat just 3 of us but no problem with 2. Or on your own. Now if am not supplying and I can get the client to get me pre bagd sand and cement to spray I'll get that quicker than hardcoat but it costs a lot more money to buy 4+VAT a bag at 10mm will do 1.3 m2 a bag. A bag of hardcoat will do 3m2.Bandit country , do you rustle cattle in your spare time !
That stuff would be worth a go alright but would many lads buy it for floating a private house and does it work out much dearer than sand and cement ?
Am in Galway city next weekend on a stag. Before you say it i know it's s**t for a stag been on 2 there before. Is there a place that will let 18 lads in and won't say u are to drunk even tho u are not pissed.Float it and skim the same day ya ? Whats the advantage over sand and cement ?
Where ya from yourself ?
It would be luck of the draw really , I wouldnt let 18 lads from Louth into the county , not to mind a pub ! Probably Richardsons , Fibber Magees or a few of them type pubs up around Eyre Square would be tolerant enough of stags .Am in Galway city next weekend on a stag. Where are ye staying ? I go to a nice pub in Woodquay called Bar na Caladh , good porter and music 7 nights a week , they usually dont stop anyone going in but they would throw a lad out fairly lively for messing
Handy spot , you're right in the city really . The Spanish Arch or the Quays are good places that are very close to you thereJury's Inn
