I think I told you I had my boxer van for about ten years. It was 2years old when I got it ,. From main dealer. I didn't service it for 9 years . Replaced 1 wheel bearing. And rad .od tyre. Rust got it . I worked for a Diesel filter year's back. He said if there running fine don't mess with them .

I have my vehicles power washed and wax sprayed underneath every couple of years. The price depends how much material they use, about £200.

It was getting lazy to start after a couple of days sitting on the driveway in that cold snap a couple of weeks ago.
I changed it as a precaution and put the old battery on the dumper.

I wax oil and Shultz mine every 2 years to, its messier than wet dashing ! But helps a lot. Also spray old engine oil into all the round holes in the hollow chasis and other sections.

I use a smart charger left on when not using vehicles for a while in winter, it kicks in if volts drop below 12.3v also can recondition old batteries if still got a bit of life in them.
