What is this roof tile called?

I have been offered 1000s of these tiles free of charge, so I am thinking they would work well on myh garden office roof.

But what are they called? I want to check that I have enough pitch and also if solar panels work ok with them

Look a bit like rosemary or possibly dreadnought. What are the dimensions?

Could well be Danny. Pretty common around the Midlands, not sure about your neck of the woods. Regardless, they look very similar but are only good for normal pitch roofs…not low pitch. Prob around 35-40 degree minimum.
hmmmmm I think I am 30 degrees

Look like the tile used on bay windows etc.
I’d swerve them and buy new ones as they’ll be less brittle and you’re going to need tough ones for the solar panels.

Seems like it’s been narrowed down. Pretty standard clay tile.

With regards to solar, concrete pan tile or similar certainly tougher, but invariably a few get broken getting the panels on the roof regardless. Just make sure you have a few spares.

Those are concrete tiles not clay. Ugly things but if they are Free and you have enough use them. They are double lap and you will need about 50 to a metre at a min pitch of about 35 degrees. Loads of time in labour and battens galore.
