I’ve only done that over the Hollis to much trouble getting oil of in morning, if it’s rusty the wet and dry comes out mind you nearly taken my fingers off a few times

So would you say not to oil em

I wouldn’t oil them if I was using them the next day I just give them a wipe with dry wet and dry if it needs it but usually it doesnt

Just dried it today. Though not working now till Sunday. Gave it a rub with some sandpaper this morning n it seemed better

I think they are the best, wooden handles no rubber or cork, just look after them and they last for years I have one that’s 30 years old mind you it’s only two inches wide

Just get an ordinary carbon steel wooden handled marshal town and break it in on sand and cement like we used to

I.ve got back of me garage to render as well . Keep putting it of as i need to loose 5 stone and take fence panels then squeeze between neighbours conifers .......living dream

Apparently if we had been on a golden trowel course or similar the answer would be yes

Well, perhaps the place we were marooned at had a gypsum mountain in the middle of it! As we are all clever blokes it would be a moments work to crush it and make it proper fine so as to give a lovely smooth finish to our shelter.
