Im a bit new for tips but something thats helped me is when I go into a new room I unscrew everything, plug sockets, lights etc and put all the screws in an empty pop bottle I keep in the van...put all the screws in it and tighten the lid on....you can kick it round the room for the next day or two and never loose a screw
Is that With yer salad cream sarnies in there aswellI cover the electrical sockets (after unscrewing) with thin disposable sandwich bags.

A tip that i mentioned on another post so will post it on this thread as maybe useful for some of you:
To save hassle when the plumber or customer wants screw holes left somewhere just mark on the floor inline with the screws then screw them right in, skim over, when set run a magnet up from the line you marked and unscrew. Screw holes found with no faff!
I did that then lost my magnet!
Im living the dream so farGet out of it as quick as you can

That's good as well... also keeps them cleanIm a bit new for tips but something thats helped me is when I go into a new room I unscrew everything, plug sockets, lights etc and put all the screws in an empty pop bottle I keep in the van...put all the screws in it and tighten the lid on....you can kick it round the room for the next day or two and never loose a screw
Now that is genius... I use inner tubes to water tight some hinges on my kit car and a few other jobs... well handy to have lying aboutBicycle inner tube = universal hose pipe tap adapter
If you have to take a radiator off with TRV's put a 5pence piece in the bottom of the valve. When you then screw the valve down it does shut the water off!
I've had too many that still leak even when shut fully off (past the frost setting) in the past.
A lad told me that plastering is like a fanny - if its too dry you can do fukc all with it . Don't know if its the best tip but i liked it
Ha ha! Your right mate plastering is just like a fanny. You know why though because the more you play with it the wetter it gets! Lol.A lad told me that plastering is like a fanny - if its too dry you can do fukc all with it . Don't know if its the best tip but i liked it
