So in terms of my original example of the 25ft x 13ft room it can be done with gypsum and 2 spreads? Why a lab on the machine? It mixes and sprays a bag every 5 minutes and holds 2 and a half bags
Yes it can be done but why would you?So in terms of my original example of the 25ft x 13ft room it can be done with gypsum and 2 spreads?
@flynnyman I not bothered about the speed or making more money just weather it's possible.if me and my plasterer could do the room with skim set up this would be of interest to me when I do buy a machine..to be fair Ryan and pft both said honestly to me that machines are aimed more at outdoor work but if the curry dude can do with two plasterer and no labourer I am all ears
I presuming it would be less troweling with mt I.e no putting on just spray and flatten with speedskim and final trowel with mt..also no taking gear out of bucket would equal less stress on the body in general..but like I said I have no experience with machine so this is just what I presume.fair enough got to set up and clean machine but thinking it would make for better days at work.Yes it can be done but why would you?
Yeah fair enough but I only asking ..i get what the dudes said earlier in the threadTwo spreads on a little room with a machine? Lol give your head a shake
No worries the thread has confirmed I am going to have a few weeks rental on the skim set up to have a bash myself ...I can appreciate everyone's views.Sorry it's not everything you wanted to hear someone needs to try and balance out the bullshit I've been reading on this forum lately
Thought you might after all the positive feedback on using a machine for skimming in this thread lolNo worries the thread has confirmed I am going to have a few weeks rental on the skim set up to have a bash myself ...I can appreciate everyone's views.
How much spraying you done with a skim setup?Sorry it's not everything you wanted to hear someone needs to try and balance out the bullshit I've been reading on this forum lately

Like I've said in my previous posts but not as blunt "I'm not a f**k**g idiot" you can try and sell it and push it till the cows come home machines are never gonna fit in on domestic skimming end of. I will tell you what and I've said it before I will race your machine on a skim set up one on one and the winner gets the measure and gets to keep the machineHow much spraying you done with a skim setup?
And where do you get the eze24? Oh and pick up a mega mixer as well to mix the gear.Good man go for it yourself and develop personal experience.
I would recommend that if you are hiring a machine to sample spraying that you do not hire a mixing machine. Whilst it's awsome to just chuck a bag on and let it mix you WILL mess it up and it will tarnish ur view. It takes more then a few weeks to master the setup and imho it's not worth making it to complicated for a demo. Better to concentrate on the spraying ect.
I reckon a eze24 with a skimming Lance would be best for a trail. If you like it then think about a Ritmo or m100
We manage ok with our machine when we mono to keep drive ways cleanIt's a nice idea but if you have to mask everything up and practically finnish tape and joint , its just not practical, plus that's with nothing going wrong where in Mrs Jones front garden or brick paving are you going to wash machine in evening when you finnish up, all ways be minded of the worst case scenario with domestics, clean up costs can very easily out weigh entire price if s**t hits the fan. If it can ,it will.

Fair enough have only ever used machines on site, we power washed every evening, could get fair messy around though. Lot of hassle for a few buckets of skim I reckon. And as I said more stuff that can go to s**t.....more stuff will go to s**t on ya.We manage ok with our machine when we mono to keep drive ways clean

Its getting easier, only tried a handful of times as the jobs have to be right.@Priceplastering
How do you find the eze for spraying finish? I've got the setup but never used it.
Nice machine there ,your labourer had enough !!lolDoes yours have a little switch on the machine for remote on and off?
Its like a little rocker switch on the right hand side as your looking at the control swithes. Ryan commented on it when i had it over at P1SS. Didn't follow up on it but been meaning to ask.no and why have you stolen @bobbys profile pic?
What switch? only have power, speed and control
