you can get fine by the environment agency if you set a fire on purpose.
you could say that it caught on fire and you are trying to put it out, this is a grey area, therefore no fine.

I just bag it up in rubble sacks put round back of garage then sneak afew in skips on my next job/jobs. Never leave any waste on domestic work
