It's for one coating mate if you don't sponge it you end up with tiger stripes feck knows what it does but it works

ah right ive always laid down (2 coated) I tried one coat once but it went awful, probably coz i didnt use a sponge lol I put on and lay down with the same gear though so gaige takes as long as one coat. always worked pretty well for me. Not many sites in manchester would let you one coat they tell you on site induction half the time that they require 2 coat plaster. then tell you its £2 a metre lol cheeky sods!

I used to sponge finish a long time ago (15 years ish) with a big sponge on a stick that i brought back from Germany. Never with one coat of finish though. It was good for big sets that were getting away from me but left a bit of a grainy/matt finish. It was something that I carried on with from the knauf one coat...can't remember why I stopped doing it now.

My old boss still pays his guys 130-140a day day work. And they do about 4 bags a day.

How it should be, every other trade gets an easy day, gets time to sit down for tea breaks so why shouldnt we! only spreads who are expected to work non ******* stop, people dont realise soon as the muck hits that water, you got 3hours non stop graft, so that 3 times a day, shits all over any other trade, plumbers, sparkies, they can all down tools and **** off home or have a break when they please.

One coat, spray with water then sponge. Creates a new 2nd coat that you can lay down with. Done!

Have either of you ever tried it

You don't catch it when it's dry so you can bring fat to the surface its still wet just the same as wiping a splash brush over it .....looking forward to you're reply especially Mark

theres only one firm i do a posh one coat for and sponge it up but thats because they dnt pay very good, but if you know what your doin it does finish mustard
