Would you pay for this plastering job ?

Pardon for captivating title, but would appreciate professional opinion regarding quality of this work. While I do understand need to fill occasional mark I don't believe this will deal with ripples and bumps. Any advice on on how to proceed with decoration in this case is also appreciated.

The plasterer will tell you to mist coat it, I’ve seen some terrible looking work that painted up good, mine was the opposite looked lovely but shite when painted
