WTF is going on with multi finish?

Casper where is that location of yours " teetering on the brink". is that like Newcastle upon tyne or walton on the naze or ashton under lyne??
 
i complained today cos the board finish wassnt in yet at the merchants so i had to use multi and it was shocking
 
Just a thought could bg be doing something too multi and board finish so as when uni finish does come out at 2quid a bag dearer than the rest ( and might actually be ok) that we will be so sick of the kak there dishing out at present that we will pay it . Bit deep I know. But just a thought ?...

i use multi for everything but been thinking of trying some board fin again cos multi just don't seem right round here and seems to be drying out funny called on a job a friend of mine was re skimming and he were using board and it looked bob on
 
spoke to a rep from Jewson today about the multi finish gate, and he told he hasnt heard about any problems..............WTF!!. put he will pass on my concerns to BG

And BG aint bothered either maybe because there all w@nking over the new uni finish :RpS_sneaky:

If BG & builders merchants are saying that no ones complained I think it's time they look at this thread!


Ps. BG I've had no problems with the finish lately :RpS_biggrin:

I have a theory that clayman is sabotaging bg depots, to get us turnin to the darkside, but then again nailswater and DI bubbles would have came across any skulduggery in the recent investigation:RpS_sneaky::RpS_lol:
 
we seem to agree bg need to get its act together with regards to multikak. But does anyone remember the finish plaster that limelite made to go on their backing it was ultra shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiitttttttttttte!!!
 
spose we could try clay plaster ill get a shovel and dig some out the garden tonight for tomorow does anyone else want some??

It was so they didn't have to make so many different finish plasters, hence bringing out a Multifinish.
We were originally told they would be fazing out Boardfinish as well, seeing as Multi was for use on board anyway.
 
jewsons up here have got 2 pallets of it but its all out of date..............:RpS_laugh:

I wonder where are all the palletts of uni-finish have gone? i dont suppose bg have just launched em in the bin!. itll be like the great escape at their factory with a couple of pocket fulls at a time being thrown in all the other types of finish, every pallett of mutli we have is different to the last, BG the only thing consistent is the inconsistency!.
 
My multi finish problems started with the new bags advertising the new uni finish.
when the problem was mentioned in this thread, everyone seemed to be understanding and helpful.
I mention similar problems and I am told it's because I don't know what I am doing. funny that.

WOW blaming it on the writting on the bag thats got to be a first LOL ive heard its "not a wand its a trowel" but its "the writting on the bag" is class. You might be onto something, my mate was convinced it was the colour of the bucket that was the problem :)
 
My problems started in 85, a farmers son who had no farm to inherit thought plastering was the way to go, been trying to stop since 87.
