Has any one had a problem with these wobble lights? I've got a defender wobble light had it for about a month and the thing is literally falling to bits. The thermal button has fallen out and when I turned it on today it makes a terrible sound. So I have taken the base off, to find 3 of the 4...

The Nela premiums are nice trowels but you heard right take a long time to break in. Well they do for me as I don't get to do much rendering or floating that much. Nela s*p*r*lex are pretty decent but wouldn't say you can lay on or first trowel with them as they flex to much.
I've found that pre gritting Artex, bonding then skimming you have trouble to getting it to pull in. Just hangs around forever. I think your better off pvaing, bonding, skimming or pre gritting day before then just skimming but then the ceiling needs to be nice and flat!
I have heard that you...

how do u finish with those plastic trowels, i only flatten with mine because it leaves very fine lines in the finish. i tried it on a ceiling this morning tried to finish with it, but after the first pull i saw it was leaving some nasty marks so went back to my ss.
all i can seem to use the plastic trowel for is flattening down the first coat which it does make very easy and mayb first trowel but it leaves very light lines in, when do you use it to cross towel after u have layed on?
Haha cheers guys yea we been laying it on flattening down then laying back with fresh gear. But I just come off a job with normal plaster board skimming fine using same method this and getting a lovely finish. This stuff is a nightmare we do get a good finish in the end just is a right pain...
