Can’t use the metal triangles on the cornice only on the cove . I use a plastic box mitre and just stick a bit of wood in it to square up the cornice .

I agree when using thistle but one coat is designed to be sponged.

It’s how it’s done . Done loads of it . Machine plaster . Knauf mp60 . Look it up yam

It does take a while to set . Method is you apply , leave a while , sponge then trowel it up .

I trained a lad up on site . He paid £1k to get level 2 . The assessor came out once asked me to sign some paperwork saying he can do all those things and a month later he’s qualified

So the base coat goes directly onto the paint (after tests are done ) and the primer is what goes on the base coat before you apply the thin coat?

Looks mint . Detects up to 4inch . Don’t work on apple though

I always use chalk line mate it’s loads easier
