    I have a BT line, it's a low usage price and pay £15 a quarter but never use to ring out, the number I've had for donkeys years so need to keep at the moment. Have Virgin as well and don't use to ring out, gets a bit expensive.

    Had previous chats with guys that were good at sports at school and they suffer really badly with all limbs now. Me I was crap at sports so that wasn't a problem, doing ceilings crippled me on the lower back, most guys I know are in later life like me I'm 60 next month.

    20 years ago my back really gave me hell, must of spent a fortune him/her and was at the osteopaths every month. Over the last numbers years been taking a high dosage Glucosamine 1,500mg one a day and hardly been to have my back sorted...seems to work for me.

    First job on my own, forming an arch in sand/cement in 1975 as I recall.

    You don't have moisture jumping across on the wall ties, had this on a job in Richmond, all walls had to be opened up....the brickies left so much muck on the ties the moisture crept through to the internal walls. Just a thought.

    I've been plastering for over 30+ years (more tiling nowadays) and neither have I got any qualifications, am I bothered. I won't be working on site again as I find it a joke, so many with helmets who are in charge who are knobs.

    I'd be using renderlite made by Sovereign as a base coat, stop any old salts coming through.
