    Telescopic work plank

Nowt wrong with scaff boards and a damn site cheaper than the 'little giant'. A 3 meter board is universally sweet for 99% of my work, in that most rooms warranting a lift have at least one dimension under 4.2 meters, which allows for a 60 cm reach at each end. Bigger room, bigger board! Why...

George.. you will hear people say, 'just get it on the wall and trowel up'.....or the like.. , they're either very good, or very stupid if they say this, as they ain't got a clue how you lay on..... As the wand says, 'misses' is the word used when you've left a void in the finish as you're...

    Lime on one coat?

    Trowel dilemma

I just bought a 14 inch s*p*r*lex, used it today. What a dream trowel :RpS_wub: ..it's a lot firmer than the sponge back refina plazzi (which I struggled with at first) but they complement each other nicely as the plazzi is great if you want to flatten wet(ish) gear, if it's firmed up a bit, use...

    Internal Lyme Render

That's the problem with the internet I suppose. He's seen somewhere that Lyme is the only solution and to tell his 'builder' to sling his hook if he suggests anything else. What the net fails to do is explain the reasons Lyme is used and importantly, the other factors which need to be taken into...
