No, I use a 14 refina plazzi for flattening now or my super flex.

No, the sample I have from the floor didn't fail, it's was there as the spark had chased it off the wall. Its one coat....no doubt about that. That fibre lime seems interesting though....might have a look at that.

I got a collomix with a refina paddle. Well built, I took it apart a few weeks ago to check brush gear and grease, very clean....no worn gear teeth and well sealed still. I recon the cable has another year in it till it gives up, but I do wrap it around the hand guard :RpS_unsure:

I just bought a 14 inch s*p*r*lex, used it today. What a dream trowel :RpS_wub: ..it's a lot firmer than the sponge back refina plazzi (which I struggled with at first) but they complement each other nicely as the plazzi is great if you want to flatten wet(ish) gear, if it's firmed up a bit, use...
