Has anybody used free flow with mastercrete or any other premium cements? If so how much do you use? Only used free flow with opc cement. Starting the job next week customer is supplying, just worried it will weaken the mix!!

Hi guys has anybody used tech lite renovating plaster. It's going over old stone walls. Any advice welcome!!

Yeah I normally use cemtone free flow or febproof plus. The sika was on offer so tried it and was disgusted to be honest!

Used silka concentrated Waterproofer today and it's total dog ****!! Avoid unless you like dead mixes !!

Haven't used concentrated Waterproofer in ages is it any better than it used to be, as it used to be **** !!

I got the Ramboo ones but didn't really rate them! Will give then another go some time, did you use as sponge float or just the sponge itself mate ?

I do use car wash sponges from time to time and off cuts of sofa. I was only seeing what other people use. Isn't that the idea of forum ?

Haha yeah sunlight is a killer! The site is really high up with nothing to shade the walls, some area look a bit shadowy. I'm still interested in people's opinions

I've done some sand and cement external, it's been painted but now I'm not happy with a couple of areas when the sunlight shines across it (looks uneven), is there any product I can use or anything I can do without removing it all and starting again? ie Parex renovating etc?? Thanks.

to be honest mate your probably right there, ive done other thincoat systems but not this one! when i done it before i was working as a gang and used there floats!
