Yeah I make ya right Danny, I can't say I've ever been in a domestic where I've seen it or anyone even ask me about it, but then if they don't know about they wouldn't :)

    Venetian work

I'm interested in doing a Venetian course and I'm just wondering whether it's worth doing as a domestic spread? From what I've read, materials are pricey and courses ain't cheap What I'm asking is do you get enough interest/ work to make it worthwhile?

    In the deep end ?

if my builders did it on meterage, it wouldn't be worth me doing it, if somebody just wants a little bathroom ceiling skimmed it's my day rate regardless of what time I finish

    In the deep end ?

I've never been asked to quote by the metre for small builders but everyone's different I suppose, lot of different factors involved like how much you can do in a day, have you got a labourer, how much you need to earn to make a profit? Only you know these things

Couldn't agree more guys the MTs have never let me down, although the plazi seems to make very light work of a larger area so I'm pretty impressed with it, just need to make sure I don't take a chunk out the edge, I got a speed skim on order

    In the deep end ?

I usually charge day rate with small builders but a bit cheaper than my rate would be if I'd got the job direct, then tell em how many days it'll take Seems to work for me
