For some reason we got these delivered on site today apprently there turkish. They only weighed 8kg 12.5mm as well!
Yes but will be probably 10kg bags .Are we going back to float and set with no 8x4 for dabbing.?
I thought i must have gained a bit of muscle then seen it on the back. they where a nice firm board to be fair. ill have to ask the builder where he got them from8kg . Take my money now
What could they replace it with? (lathe and plaster)

na but the labourers moan lol
Christ I reckon we use more 2.7 and 3m boards than 2.4's. How's that going to work?Ok just heard this from a lad I know who works at British Gypsum. Apparently the are going to stop making 8x4 boards on health and safety reasons and are already changing all their machines over .
IMO health and safety as a rule is governed by time and cost ,In many cases it is a load of bullshit until it all goes wrong and then it becomes a big ass covering exercise . When there is no money left on the job the health and safety aspect suddenly becomes less important and a* just get it done attitude* seems to be the way .Is health and safety on sites governed by the eu ?
So it’s not true then ?Must be the same informant that told people that BG had a fire at one of their plaster plants LMAO
Nope
@FALSENEWSSo it’s not true then ?
