To be fair the colour looks much closer in shades now so could be fine in a few more weeks. I still hate the bar in the middle and hate that I had to have k rend. Still waiting for the mess to be cleaned up so will wait and see what damage is left.

Well if the back is 13 m wide and it's about 4 m high, there's about 15 square metres of windows in there, so there's about 35 square metres on the back, you said the bill was 7500 so that's £215 a square metre so far

My god... Just unbelievable ain't it. We've done a really really s**t job, caused you an enormous amount of stress, probably made you fall out of love with your extension oh and for the privilege that'll be an extra grand to what was agreed.
If you pay that or even pay the old total then I've lost all sympathy, as you'd be an absolute mug. I hope he hasn't got it in writing you were willing to pay the extra grand

You can't live with that. If you'd paid a few grand we'd all call you a mug and say you cheaped out and what do you expect but you've paid top money for a monstrosity of a job. Call them back and say you want it done spot on and you'll pay them the remaining 3k. If they're a decent size company like they sound I'm sure they will, and send someone round who's actually used the material before and with a trowel not a spoon. If not take them to court for your money back

Nope still not sorted. Rendering done but hard to tell how the finish is as the scaffold still up. Not entirely happy with the window reveals but don’t know if I’m being too picky. Windows still covered in rock hard render. Patio covered in stains and waiting to see if it can be removed...., other than that happy days...
