Do u have to have the tuner patched b4 u get 1? Does it connect go internet etc or is it wi fi? Does it work by putting ccline in etc?

Twin tuner is two sat cables going into box like sky plus.
Think the spider only has one?
Servers are your 'gift'? Who you've paid?
Do you lose an odd channel every now and again when it moves frequency? What do you do to get it back?

Dont really lose channels if do Il give it a quick scan..il just stick with wat got 2 technical for me is this s**t I'm a plasterer lol
 
Basically kitchy all I'm saying is to get a cheap box and put your server details (mgcamd etc) on that and fire it in the bedroom

You don't have to patch the tuner, that's only for spiderbox. It can be wifi, depends on the box you get, works exactly same by putting line in.
 
More or less yeah, just a bit of setting up scans, image and that's it. Half an hour of a job

I've got a twin tuner with a hdd, can record one thing while watching another. Mine is set up just like sky and I get every sky channel, sports channel and box office. Also get loads of porn...

Depends on box kitchy.
I would have to install certain drivers for mine to connect via wifi, so instead I just use a wifi extender with an Ethernet cable running off it so the box assumes it's a wired connection, but ultimately it's via wifi, never a problem.
 
Il have to have a look at them extenders big k..so if got 1 connect it as WiFi then plug extender into bedroom plug socket? Dint know earthnet cables went into the extenders just thought u plugged them into socket

£130!!!! Servers for sky are only £20 a year!!?

It's different to what you have Keith, Stuart's comes through a dish, yours is Iptv, which enables all the foreign channels so you get all the football live from a sat feed.

Stuart, buy servers yourself and put them on box yourself when current one runs out.

My cousin does it for a living, he's always updating it and sorting s**t for me so I don't grudge the money for what I get. I've also heard a lot of these cheap servers can be overloaded and picture quality can be affected. In the grand scheme of things £130 is fk all when I was paying £90 a month to sky.
 
Fair do's stuart, if he maintains it for you and you don't have to touch it fair enough, still cheap like you say, I put 2 on my boxes in case one goes down for any reason, the box picks strongest one, a tenner a year each. Never so much as a glitch, and I'm on wifi.
There's also a lot of lads going around selling lines for 80's or 100 a year that are just resellers. Something I could (or should the wife says) do, but I just help out a few friends & family

That's good especially with wifi. I've mine wired into internet with Ethernet cable as my wifi is s**t, had 2 different suppliers and wifi still shite.
 
It's a fair point mate. If you get prosecuted you'll have a criminal record. You'll have to mention it when you renew your insurance which would shoot up, if you're CRB checked like I am that would be out the window as well. I know you're not likely to get caught but is it worth risking?

@bigtv where would I get one of the sat box. Would it be worth me getting one. The only problem I might have is i already have 4 cables going to my dish.

I agree it's unlikely you'll get caught but you never know. One of the lads I work with was prosecuted by the RSPCA for dog fighting. It meant he couldn't go to Niagra Falls in the states to get married because he couldn't get a visa because of the conviction. He had to change it and go to the Canada side instead. His girlfriend had to go across the bridge and see Goat Island and the Cave of Wind? on her own.
