Stuff you Gordon, tbf I already know most wont listen I told andy about 6 months ago on a thread to try it, I read his comments and know exactly what he had going on , why do you think I tried spray finish unifinish dura finish pure finish , I already used board and multi , I found my gear I like and originally only answered lurpacks question at the start , tried to find stock for him and gave my best advice
Let’s not forget you are the only guy to ever say you never have a problem with multi finish
Don’t reply I don’t need you too I already have the photo shot of the thread you said it in
Will leave you all to it , enjoy your day

Ohh the skimming messiah returns, I’m not biting Gordon but glad to see you back old chumpThe difference between me and you is I don’t bullshit my fellow spreads, I don’t tell them gear is the best one day and then change your mind the next because actually it’s rubbish and falls off lol.
As for me and multi correct I’ve never had a call back for blown finish
Selco doesn't have it down my way in Crawley, and it's not coming up on there website. I'd definitely try it if I could get my hands on it. Not got room for a full palletPure is in stock in selco in Nottingham , Liverpool and London right now
You better off to phone the branches mate Selco CroydonSelco doesn't have it down my way in Crawley, and it's not coming up on there website. I'd definitely try it if I could get my hands on it. Not got room for a full pallet
I'm in. Do you take registration fees? I can ping it over nowInteresting this, and I propose an experiment in a house I'm refurbing soon. Just need 6 volunteers, 1 room each, 3 pure, 3 multi and we'll settle this once and for all.
I will of course pay fuel and provide lunch
Pete honestly, hand on heart, I've never doubted that the Pure Finish is good gear, but while it's not stocked it's a non starter whatever the price. If BG scrapped their cheaper product that'd suit me fine as everyone would have to up their rates.Stuff you Gordon, tbf I already know most wont listen I told andy about 6 months ago on a thread to try it, I read his comments and know exactly what he had going on , why do you think I tried spray finish unifinish dura finish pure finish , I already used board and multi , I found my gear I like and originally only answered lurpacks question at the start , tried to find stock for him and gave my best advice

No offence taken mate I do only do small jobs ,Pete honestly, hand on heart, I've never doubted that the Pure Finish is good gear, but while it's not stocked it's a non starter whatever the price. If BG scrapped their cheaper product that'd suit me fine as everyone would have to up their rates.
If you still think that 30p a metre difference is nothing then you're only pricing what we consider small jobs. Absolutely no offence intended.

Fair play to you Pete, I've worked through to find the best of the most mundane things such as staples, clout nails and beads. No offence taken mate I do only do small jobs ,
Still think you should buy a pallet though ffs man you own a lake and said you had ritmo in unit you never used from new , 30 pence surely you can afford just to try it ,
Cost me to find all this out a bought
Three pallets of spray finish
God knows how many unifinish pallets
Took a day of work to go try dura at a demo day
And bought the pure
Tbf though I still have my fingers crossed that lurpack might try some so let’s see

We have a pallet ready for our job starting Monday. Had to order a whole pallet because Jewsons don't stock it. They did however say that they'd take bags back if needed. They wouldn't have done that if we ordered Pure Finish, which they quoted us at £7.50+vat.@essexandy have you tried board finish lately

Fair play to the lads I hope you both have a better week with the board finish, maybe one day you might try the pure , until then best of luck
Drys out lovely too and hasn’t fell off eitherUpdate on
I’ll still be trying it mate x
All paint up ok , the thing you said there earlier mate is key I think , if can use board or pure or even multi with no water always turns out better in end , it’s main reason I don’t like multi always seem to have to bash the water on to get a finish , next week after all this this week I’m gonna grab a few bags of multi myself to see.Nice. That’s multi dry. Doesn’t look As bad in person but still icky

Got a render on now but will get a pallet of pure when it’s done , I’ll message you and sort you a few bags , save you going selco mate
