Hi,
Advice please.
Repairing ceiling in utility room where there has previously been water damage, small section right in the corner of the ceiling approximately 40cm x 20 cm.
A section of plasterboard has been cut out running along where the joist is. I was planning on cutting the board back to the middle of joist so I can attach new board, putting noggins around the other sides. Planning on using 9.5mm board (currently board 12.5mm), put a bit of bonding on to fill out then feather in with multi.
Is this a good idea or is this going to crack? Any recommendations please?
Thanks
