Not being purposely argumentive, but I know of a roofer that's only cash, has a nice living, has a mortgage in his wife's name lives near me, makes good money. They use his earnings to fund holidays, shoppping etc, he doesn't work everyday of the week but must make 40 odd grand a year.

Agree, and I think this is why a lot of people try to avoid as much as poss, they know it’s gonna get wasted in red tape , if people knew the emergency services would get a good pay rise for an xtra 1% on their tax bill , most would be happy to pay it

Agree there was so much litter around after the storms my city looked like a sh*t hole...If I was running the show anyone capable not work or low risk prisoners would be keeping our streets spotless.

I lived on a council estate and went out almost every day on a street rota
Every other week I'd do the whole estate and it would be 4/5 bin bags
One big clearance day I'd just finished and 3 council pickers ( the one's that use blower's to push it under your hedge )
Your in luck lads , I've just done the lot , but to save me a trip I'd appreciate it if you would take these bag's , opening and showing clearly a litter pick contents

They're eligible for job retention scheme I believe and 80% pay. Not sure dividends will be taken into account though.
That little dig Rishi had at us all is worrying/annoying about having to pay our way in future. We contribute alot to the pot. I think there's going to be alot more investigations into small businesses in future to recoup as much money as possible
