Best job for it ..don't even scrape just bang it straight on...don't just take my advise ask others that have used it @stuart23 @jamesthefirst .
The dude above might of been plastering 30 years but if he has not used it his advise is worthless..it's 2016 not 1970

I find unifinish a bit hit or miss, either hangs about forever or takes up really quick. I've done a few ceilings like you described, I found best way was to first coat then leave it till its really tight then second coat. If you get second coat on too early thats when i found it hangs about for ages and you get air bubbles

It was fine when it eventually set! Probably advise the same, leave 2nd coat until first is nice and tight, there was a few areas where the paper bubbled, I just cut it out with a stanley. But if you leave second coat off until first has tightened up you will probably see them and catch it with second coat

If you want to have any of the day left to enjoy your daughters birthday use multi mate first time I used uni my son was coming 3 did the job got home he's 6 now it hung that long [emoji1]

My opinion it's better to use unifinish on artex than any pre treatment...I will undo the disagree I like you too.

About time some long time members used it and gave there honest opinions...sometimes it's like talking about Robin hood with unifinish on here is real or is it a myth
