You will understand if you get a chance to dab that terraced houseSorry mate didnt understand a word of that to be honest
Pagey there's no need to spray skimming on domestic internals..it just dsnt make sense at all..Can't knock a bloke for going for it and snapping up a bargain hope it works out for u prove the doubters wrong
Mate I don't get the skimming domestic part but what about a new build extension fully boarded ect? Can't the machine also throw on a bit of external as well? I know on a few rendering jobs I've had I would of loved a machine because it was a fair bit between two blokes and I'm like you I can't have a young lad because none can hack it a machine does appeal to me but I'm not in that market to even think about one but you can't knock a bloke who has gone all in and gonna try make it work,I've done jobs for Pete and we speak on phone and even though we met on here I'm telling you he a top bloke and if he wants to make it work he will he ain't as stupid as some think lolPagey there's no need to spray skimming on domestic internals..it just dsnt make sense at all..
If he was site and floating houses etc and did alot of rendering yep it pays for its self with photos Vince puts up jobs he does are fiddly domestic jobs not m2 eating jobs..agreed he's a top bloke not doubting that pal and I know he knows his stuff ive seen his workMate I don't get the skimming domestic part but what about a new build extension fully boarded ect? I agree pal I've said previously it looks boring and tedious spraying a finish plasterOnly problem with that mate is you wouldn't be able to spray skim on s+c,spray skim it's for boards. But I understand where you are coming from.
I cannot knock anyone for trying, I am a m2 muncher and it will not work, time you set a machine up me and my lads would have a skim on, then there's the window protection etc, another gauge on, extra cleaning. It gives me headache thing about it lol.
Yes but only for renderDefo sounds like a gang thing to have a machine
I've always seen 3 blokes when doing the machine rendering one machine all day putting bags in one spraying and one ruling or that's what I could work out what was happeningYes but only for render
Ive only ever seen 3/4 aswell...thats half of reason cant be arsed getting into market do very well on internals so just don't see how I could earn more doing external..ye mite be abit more satisfying and better works etc but id rather earn more coin..rates that get banded about down our way for coloured tender are laughable..most been offered was £13m2 labour only and sum1 offered £10..laughed and said no thanksI've always seen 3 blokes when doing the machine rendering one machine all day putting bags in one spraying and one ruling or that's what I could work out what was happening

That's y ive stayed away..not buying a machine and wrking on them rates dsnt make sense unless its ur own work but then uve got to try and compete with them shitty rates unless there creaming stupid amounts offAt those rates I can see alot of refurb working being required in a couple of years time, happy days
There think just because there's a few gud m2 there can rob u on pricehad a guy offer me 300m2 basecoat fully meshed then mono top 10 quid he said have a think about i said i have get f**k*d
Your not looking in the right places then, if I was only getting 13 a metre the van would stay on the drive in a morning.Ive only ever seen 3/4 aswell...thats half of reason cant be arsed getting into market do very well on internals so just don't see how I could earn more doing external..ye mite be abit more satisfying and better works etc but id rather earn more coin..rates that get banded about down our way for coloured tender are laughable..most been offered was £13m2 labour only and sum1 offered £10..laughed and said no thanks
Was Keith who offered £13 owls..never done it Keith had a shed load about 2 years ago he wanted to show me n lad I work with how to do it so thought ye sound I'm up for it asked him how much he said he pays subbys £13m2..i know another firm who pays £10-£11..there must be some major creaming off the price there owls going by wat people say on hereYour not looking in the right places then, if I was only getting 13 a metre the van would stay on the drive in a morning.
I'm on about 45 days at min waiting for a payment..fair to say I'm getting pissed off with itI suppose it's like skimming rates
There's good and bad rates about
I've just picked up a site with mono and the rate is decent
Going direct to the builder will get you a half decent rate but then there's waiting minimum 30 for payment
Yep he'll have his mark up on that. Was Keith who offered £13 owls..never done it Keith had a shed load about 2 years ago he wanted to show me n lad I work with how to do it so thought ye sound I'm up for it asked him how much he said he pays subbys £13m2..i know another firm who pays £10-£11..there must be some major creaming off the price there owls going by wat people say on here
Funny thing Is he told me a couple years b4 wat he can charge for it,think he forgot that he told meYep he'll have his mark up on that.

Couple of plus points and bad points in my mad head at the minute, bads points as machine is new to me is setting up and cleaning it down hopefully get quicker and easier with time ,not got a clue yet how much area to tackle in one hit.
Good points handballed a few of the thistle spray bags to get a feel for the gear and it's like creamy smooth butter also says it's okay for going over different surfaces @Leeroy not just board's..tbh it pisses over multifinish and my beloved unifinish for how it trowels up even not sprayed.
Hoping to spray within a week after machine has service.
Speed 10 is that for kanuf or BG spray finishSetup each day 10 mins, clean out 10 mins.
You will learn time saving tricks as u go. Clean using the r/s to push water through save f**k**g about with tap and u can clean the hopper as well.
If the flow of the plaster stops and starts like it has air in it then it because u are using the powercoat shaft. ( silver no up right arm) switch to the ritmo m render and it's sweet
Use the water pump. It can go direct on to the tap as well as a water butt.
If keep f**k**g it up just use it as a conveying machine. Even my dad can do that.
Water flow 100 speed 10
You can leave the build up in the chamber just spray out any wet stuff. This lets you not have to disassemble the mixing zone each hit. Just do it each day after final hit.
