We sprayed sbr through a sprayer before, was perfect and a tub of sbr went 10 times further, and no mess what so ever as could get right up in awkward places....Just make sure to clean out properly after...

Same here, i'm actually quicker on ceilings..... I had a job last year just skimming mf ceilings on student flats, each ceiling was roughly 8-12 m2 at 2.5 high. was doing 2 a set, 3 sets a day and done by 3 everyday....Could of done 3 a set, but was a nice rate......

If the suction is bad pva the wall first then apply thistle bond it, you will find it will go a lot further plus controls the suction nice....

Tape and jointing is definitely faster on commercial stuff i'd say, My bro use to do 200 meters plus a day easy on big runs..With a little bucket of tools and no mess and a battery drill to mix up..... Didn't Evan need a van.

Sounds like black ash mortar, skimmed over this a fair bit lately..suction is a killer on this, Evan after 3 coats of PVA can still kraze, I've started going over any areas where this is exposed with a tight coat of bonding now....
